TreeDiaper® TD18 (for containers ~18" or plants of ~9" rootball)
This TreeDiaper18 Advanced Hydration System is perfect for small sapling trees or shrubs. It also works great in containers! Simply soak the mat in water to get it started, then place it around your plants. Its user friendly circular shape is designed to be placed on top of various types of soil, and fits in up to #15 gallon pots for containers plant growing in container.
For plants in grounds, it is suitable for trees and shrubs up to 3/4" of caliper or plants grown in #3-#5 containers. We recommend cover a circle area that is twice of the diameter of the rootball. If the rootball diameter is larger 9", or if the plant is from #7-#10 containers, please check up TreeDiaper® models with larger diameter. Also considering the caliper growth in next 2-3 years after planting. If you prefer a natural look, just add mulch on top of the mat. Because the TreeDiaper® treemat is made from durable materials, it can be used for years!
